The initiative

NEXUS

Native Employment & eXperiential Uplift System

NEXUS creates dignified, home-based AI training jobs for people the labor market overlooks — for reasons that have nothing to do with what they can do. Disability, age, caregiving, distance from where the jobs are, or simply having been shut out. We begin in Montana — its rural and tribal communities among the first — but the work is open to anyone kept from a fair chance by circumstance, not capability. Participants work from home or a community center, on their own schedule.

The work is real and the income is real. Participants learn simple, useful AI skills and are paid transparently for verified work, with a share returned to the community.

How we work

We do not compete with existing community or tribal businesses.
Revenue is shared back into the community it comes from.
Work respects local employment priorities and rules.
Data stays where it is made. What the community teaches, the community keeps.
Every rule that governs pay is published and auditable — including the ones that bind us.
